At the successful completion of the course, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the purpose and basic components of the Endoscopic Assessment of Swallowing (EAS)

  • List the steps necessary to start an EAS program

  • List basic equipment necessary to perform this instrumental exam

  • Identify the normal anatomy and physiology seen when doing the EAS

  • Identify abnormal anatomy and physiology seen during an EAS

Redo and Renew Receive another 8 hours credit during the next licensure period or calendar year with the State of Florida, and receive 8 hours for $40 CEU fee for redoing this course. To do this, simply retain the manual for the Intro to Endo and receive another post test and set of CD ROMs and ASHA bubble sheet by registering for the Endo renewal.
