Support & FAQsQ1: What is the ASHA CE Registry?A: The ASHA CE Registry is a computerized database that records ASHA Continuing Education Units (ASHA CEUs) awarded by the ASHA Continuing Education Board (CEB). The database stores a permanent, cumulative transcript of your ASHA CEUs. After completing a ProCourse activity, we verify your satisfactory completion of the course, ASHA CEUs will be awarded and the CEUs will then be recorded on your permanent CEU Registry transcript. This is the only way ASHA CEUs are awarded. Q2: How do I obtain a transcript?A: Please call ASHA at 800-498-2071 to order your ASHA CEU transcript. You are entitled to one free transcript per annual payment of the ASHA CE Registry fee . If you do not have free-transcript vouchers available, the cost is $15 per transcript for members and $20 per transcript for non-members. Transcripts are sent only when requested. Q3: How soon will the ASHA CEUs I earned be listed on my transcript?A: ProCourse has up to 45 days from the activity's end date to send your CEU Participant Form to the ASHA CE Registry. Once ASHA receives it, processing and posting time typically takes 3-5 weeks. At certain times of the year, processing and posting time may be longer due to heavy volume. When ASHA CEUs are awarded, they are permanently recorded on your CE Registry transcript. The ASHA CE Registry awards ASHA CEUs on behalf of the Continuing Education Board; ASHA CE Providers do not award ASHA CEUs. *The ASHA CE Registry can maintain records from courses offering ASHA CEUs only. Certificates from activities not offered for ASHA CEUs cannot be added to your ASHA CE transcript. The Continuing Education Board awards ASHA CEUs for activities offered by ASHA Approved CE Providers. Q4: Who can earn ASHA CEUs?A: As an ASHA Approved CE Provider, ProCourse sets course requirements and determines who is eligible to earn ASHA CEUs. If you meet these prerequisites, you may earn ASHA CEUs and use the ASHA CEU Registry. Q5: How can I find out if my ASHA CE Registry fee has been paid?A: You may call an ASHA Action Center representative at 800-498-2071 to review your payment history. Q6: How much does it cost to use the ASHA CE Registry?A: The annual CE Registry fee for ASHA or NSSLHA members is $24, and for non-members or certificate holders, the fee is $34. ASHA life members pay at the member rate. Q7: Can I keep my own record of participation in activities offered for ASHA CEUs?A: You can keep your own record of CE attendance. However, the only way to earn ASHA CEUs is to have them awarded by the ASHA CE Registry. ASHA Approved CE Providers do not award ASHA CEUs. Many of the state regulatory agencies require an official ASHA CEU transcript for license renewal. This transcript can only be accessed if you are a member of the ASHA CE Registry and have paid your CE Registry fee for the years in which you have taken ASHA CE activities. They are accessible through a simple phone call. If you are interested in using non-ASHA CEU courses toward your CCC maintenance requirement, information is availabe on the Certification pages. Q8: Do I have to use ASHA CEUs to maintain my CCCs?A: The answer is no! The State of Florida credits you earn will fulfill your 30 hour in 3 year ASHA requirement, as well.
